WALT: We are learning to Summarise a text and present information as a slide show
Kia Ora. I am a Year 6 student in Te Kauru at Paparore School. My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. The scary storm
WALT:We are learning to use descriptive vocab in our writing.
BOOM!I shot up in fear as loud thunder rattles my bedroom. When the lighting strikes my room lights up so bright I thought I would go blind. God must of been moving a
house by the sound of the thunder early this morning.
Were you scared when you heard thunder and if you were how did you feel?
It was hard doing my google draw because i didn't know what i was going for.

Gardening
WALT:We are learning to find the answers to questions.
It was hard finding all the information because there were not that much pages that have the right
information.
Do you have any tips on how to get bad bugs out of our garden and if so what is?

Reflection
WALT-We are learning to design and create Pallet Garden prototypes
Equipment:
Pallets
Seeds
Water
Sunlight
Nails
Hammer
Why I chose this design:
I chose this design because it looked easy and I wanted to make my design simple. I knew that it would get heaps of rain and sunlight when I put it on an angle.
Reflection:
- The thing I found difficult was when I was doing the research. I didn't know what design I was going for, but as soon as I found the design I was sticking with I was excited.
- When I found my design I decided to change it up a bit on my prototype so it could get more sunlight and rain because before it couldn't get enough sunlight and rain to make the plants grow before.
It was hard when I was making my prototype because I kept on burning myself
Have you ever made a pallet garden and if you have what design did you do?
