WALT:We are learning to find the answers to questions.
It was hard finding all the information because there were not that much pages that have the right
information.
Do you have any tips on how to get bad bugs out of our garden and if so what is?
Kia Ora. I am a Year 6 student in Te Kauru at Paparore School. My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. Throughout my time at Paparore School I may share draft copies of my work for feedback and feedforward. Other times I will share my final published pieces.

Reflection
WALT-We are learning to design and create Pallet Garden prototypes
Equipment:
Pallets
Seeds
Water
Sunlight
Nails
Hammer
Why I chose this design:
I chose this design because it looked easy and I wanted to make my design simple. I knew that it would get heaps of rain and sunlight when I put it on an angle.
Reflection:
- The thing I found difficult was when I was doing the research. I didn't know what design I was going for, but as soon as I found the design I was sticking with I was excited.
- When I found my design I decided to change it up a bit on my prototype so it could get more sunlight and rain because before it couldn't get enough sunlight and rain to make the plants grow before.
It was hard when I was making my prototype because I kept on burning myself
Have you ever made a pallet garden and if you have what design did you do?

We made our Kuaka to represent what we want to be like when we leave Paparore School. If you want to make one Here are the steps to.
It was Fun when we were making the bird because we had to colour in and I like to colour in.
Have you made a Kuaka?
WALT-We are learning to be Kaitiaki in our community.
I really liked when we played who dirtied the water because Whaea Nina gave some people jars with different stuff in the jars like water, sticks, toilet paper, sewage water and more.I had a jar with sewage water and it stunk! My friend hazel had a jar with a green liquid. It was fun because we got to get in a circle listen to a story and see how much the lake is polluted
Have you played who dirtied the water?

WALT-We are learning to use descriptive vocab in our writing. This is work I have written and edited myself. It is still a work in progress.I was sleeping peacefully until I heard a loud noise under my bed. I shot up in fear because that night I watched a horror movie. I quietly got out of bed and peaked under my bed. I shivered in fear at the horrid sight I was seeing. It was a huge monster. It was dark green with lots of spikes. It was drooling, black drool. I screamed at the top of my lungs. I sprinted so fast I could barely breathe. When I Arrived at my parents room my awake but tired mum said, “what happened?” I replied, “there's a Gigantic Monster In my room” I said in a puffed voice. “Come and see for yourself” I said. She said “No”. “But mum,” I replied in a sad voice. “Fine” Mum said. When we arrived at my room we checked under my bed. The blood curling monster was gone. “You have been watching too many scary videos, haven’t you,'' she said. “No it’s real I saw it with my own eyes”.
It was hard coming up with this story because we couldn't make it up.We had to use a pobble.
Have you ever heard a noise under your bed if you have what do you think it is?
