Kia Ora. I am a Year 6 student in Te Kauru at Paparore School.
My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. Throughout my time at Paparore School I may share draft copies of my work for feedback and feedforward. Other times I will share my final published pieces.
WALT-We are learning to use descriptive vocab in our writing. This is work I have written and edited myself. It is still a work in progress.I was sleeping peacefully until I heard a loud noise under my bed. I shot up in fear because that night I watched a horror movie. I quietly got out of bed and peaked under my bed. I shivered in fear at the horrid sight I was seeing. It was a huge monster. It was dark green with lots of spikes. It was drooling, black drool. I screamed at the top of my lungs. I sprinted so fast I could barely breathe. When I Arrived at my parents room my awake but tired mum said, “what happened?” I replied, “there's a Gigantic Monster In my room” I said in a puffed voice. “Come and see for yourself” I said. She said “No”. “But mum,” I replied in a sad voice. “Fine” Mum said. When we arrived at my room we checked under my bed. The blood curling monster was gone. “You have been watching too many scary videos, haven’t you,'' she said. “No it’s real I saw it with my own eyes”.
It was hard coming up with this story because we couldn't make it up.We had to use a pobble.
Have you ever heard a noise under your bed if you have what do you think it is?
